Measles Vaccine

I did take a halfday leave of absence today to bring Maegan to our health center for her Measles vaccine shot. I was very reluctant at first since she feels hot earlier today, however the health worker told me to just go there and personally ask the nurse.

So of course I went there, backed with all the necessary baby things and my superficial courage to be the one to hold her while they are injecting on her. She was quite a good girl today, she slept while waiting in line for almost 2 hours. When we were about to be called coincidentally that was also the time she woke up. Sorry Maegan, but we really have to have this vaccine. According to the nurse, the vaccine wont cause fever to children. I warned her that I am afraid of needles and that I close my eyes while holding my baby, another health worker helped me along. Huh! what an experience, it seems like the first time every time. Meagan cried just when the nurse pulled out the needle. Yepey! my daughter was braver than me. I hold my breath the whole time. Haha.

I went home and Maegan was already playing with her older sister Maggie. I worked in the afternoon. Before going home, Mawe and I dropped by at Pacific Mall to buy my children needs. Pampers Comfort, Cerelac and the likes. Now my loved children and husband are already sleeping. I will also sleep a bit.

Day 4: Life Lessons

Since yesterday I was quite amused with my encounter with my High School Batch. I got my self into reflection when one of my batch mates told me that I just kept on frowning way back then. That got a sigh from; way back then, I have this feeling that when I'm happy I would surely pay later on and I will be facing a bigger problem. That thought stop me to enjoy life, enjoy my youth. Now that I am older, learned how to face life, I come to pity my self. What a pity I got my self into. . So sad.

I made a decision to double the hardwork in making my own family have understanding. We may not have everything but we have everyone....

Day 2: What is Stick Rite

I am in the middle of preparing for an activity which will be happening tomorrow. Part of my preparation is to make sure we would recognize everyone. I went to the mall and started looking for sticker for names with the name "Stick Rite". By the time I approached the saleslady, she asked me what exactly is Stick Rite.

I told her, "Stick Rite" is a brand of a sticker to be used for labeling. It usually comes in different sizes and designs. The color is usually in the shade of white.

Then finally, she guided me along rows of tiny boxes. There! was so relieved. I realized though that I am still weak at creatively describing something. Improving though.

Word for the Day is Significance.

The word means the importance that can be found in events and or something that will be presented to people. The answer to the question "Is it worthy of my attention". Significance is something that I should bear in mind every time we face customers for them to be satisfied.

Day 1: What is Expatriate

My co worker asked me yesterday afternoon while she was doing a telephone survey; "What is expat". I was so happy to hear such question, you might be wondering why. Why? It's because, I said to myself "I'm not alone", when I first encountered such word I was bewildered.

Expats or Expatriate, I told her, they are the foreigners working here in the Philippines. I originally confined this definition to high ranking foreigners working here in our Country. I later realized that the word pertains to any foreigners irregardless of position they are holding, they might even be here for training. Expats are usually assigned here in the Philippines from their Mother Company; from what I noticed there are plenty of them in an Economic Zones wherein there are Manufacturing firms. As I browsed Merriam Webster now, the adjective definition of Expatriate is living in a foreign land. This would also mean that those who are here for schooling are also expat.

I really love my day one for my goal Learning at 30.

My Word for Today is Bewildered;

According to Merriam Webster, below is the meaning of Bewildered;

Learning at 30

I just got back from my self imposed leave from writing.

With this comeback, I have decided to start Learning at 30.
Here are my list for this decision;
1) Start Reading Dictionary and commit to memorize 1 word a day
    (Spelling, meaning and pronounciation)
2) Creatively define something; 1 thing in a day.

You might start wondering why I came to this point. Well, now that I am
30 I felt like I am lost in my own world. Work, kids, husband and home;
These are the things that I only know, and I felt like lost in this fast
changing world. I would also want to teach my children things which a
mother should do.

I will start today and now.

From this day on, www.merriam-webster.com will be very helpful
in my learning process.

Island hopping Experience

I just had a very hectic Saturday, I slept around 12 midnight. And woke up at around 3 in the wee hours of the morning for our partsman arrived to prepare our food for the trip... I then realized it's our company outing day..... I got up, trying to heed as he requested me to help them. But i end up, chatting with a friend and went back to sleep, woke up 6 in the morning because i heard people talking outside.

I got up, changed my clothes and went out. There i saw the excited faces of my companion. And the first thing that got my attention is the marathon that STC had for their family day... Even if i have not had a very long and deep sleep the night before. I felt so alive. We waited for our transporatation to arrive while watching the marathon.

I was holding a Kutchinta when our transportation arrived, actually, our driver is no less than the President of our company, that is how humble they are. Our President and his wife did not have there breakfast so we went to a Jollibee drive thru and bought a hot choco.

The time we arrived at the mini port, our other co workers were already there. Also very excited for our first Island hopping together. As i stepped down that small piece of wood that connects the port and the boat, i felt as if i would fall on the water... I just kept on shouting, and laughing at the same time.
